St Austell Brewery
St Austell Brewery's award-winning Tribute Ale was first brewed to commemorate the 1999 solar eclipse. Today, the popularity of this great-tasting 4.2% abv beer has spread nationwide; with Tribute now being voted as one of the UK's top-ten premium cask ales. A Supreme Champion Ale of Cornwall as voted by CAMRA, Tribute is a popular favourite with locals and visitors to Cornwall, as well as being a much sought after guest ale throughout the rest of the UK. It is brewed using specially grown Cornish Gold Malt and is a perfect companion to chicken, gammon or fish. The ideal alternative to a fine white wine.
St Austell’s most legendry ale, HSD is full bodied, strong and Cornish, brimming with a kaleidoscope of flavours. Brewed with plenty of malt and lashings of English Fuggles and Golding hops, HSD is truly a classic ale of considerable depth and complexity. The real ale alternative to a well rounded premium red wine and simply superb with steaks and other red meat dishes.
